The National Centre for Rural Development, NCRD, is a registered Public Charitable Trust. With firm belief in extending quality education to the masses, NCRD strives to empower students to harness all the potential that they possess, thereby creating effective, active, and responsible citizens.
NCRD started its academic programs by offering education at school level. The NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to University of Mumbai started functioning in the year 2004. It has the most advanced educational infrastructure which includes an air conditioned library rich with a wide range of books, national and international magazines and journals and air-conditioned class rooms equipped with state of the art audio visual aids. The Institute also has air-conditioned computer labs with computers of latest configuration and Internet facility.
The Institute has dedicated faculty and staff creating an environment, which is conducive to the growth of the students, and to equip them with leadership and managerial skills. The dedication of the staff and activities conducted for the students help in gaining knowledge and improves the overall personality of the students, thereby preparing them for the industry. This is reflected in the year-by-year increase of placements of our students in various reputed organization around the globe.

I wish to thank you for showing interest in Sterling Institute of Management Studies. We have been imparting quality education in Management and Technology for the past one decade, and over 2000 students have graduated from SIMS since its inception in 2004.
The institute is committed to create an ambience for nurturing innovation, creativity and excellence in our students. Students are expected to have an enriching and life-turning experience, which will enable them to reach new heights in their professional life. We foster sharpening of skills and enhancement of knowledge base in our students through various extra-curricular, co-curricular, and curricular activities. National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) is a Registered Public Charitable Trust, founded in the year 1991 with a vision to educate rural masses of India. Completion of its 26 years has resulted into strong commitments toward the nation’s growth. Currently, NCRD is actively educating masses from pre-nursery to various professional programs like MMS and MCA, with its various institutes situated in Pune and Navi Mumbai.
NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies (MMS, MCA), NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.), NCRD’s Institute of Pharmacy (D.
