I welcome you all to Master of Management Studies (MMS) Program of NCRD’s Sterling Institute of Management Studies (SIMS). The Department of Management Studies was established in the year 2004. The Department of MMS aims to provide academically rigorous and professionally relevant teaching in Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Systems specialization.

The pedagogy followed is in coherence with the current requirements in order to bring out the best in the students to be successful managers. As per the curriculum students get hands on experience of the corporate world through Summer Internship Projects and Final Projects (Functional, General Management and Social Relevance) with reputed organization and NGOs. We focus on providing soft skills with special emphasis on spoken English, Role Plays, Case Discussions, Mock Interviews, Group Discussions etc. We train our budding managers to face the challenges in their life and career by providing Add-on/ Certification Programs to enhance their competencies.

The Department lays maximum stress on positive attitude through counseling and through Student Mentor Program. Firstly, it is done at the level of subject teacher, secondly at the level of Mentor who counsels the students on career, studies and personal problems, thirdly at the level of HOD and finally at the Director level.

We have highly qualified, committed and proficient faculty members to train the students in managerial and technical skills.

The excellent infrastructure ensures quality education and supports regular interaction among students, alumni, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to our students. We at SIMS, MMS department are putting our best efforts to evolve holistic managers who will be capable of leading the organization in the most professional way.
