Welcome to Sterling Institute Of Management Studies
The library at NCRD's Sterling Institute of Management Studies, is the vital resource of our Institute. It was incepted in the year 2004. It occupies a unique space in our Institute. The library acts as a reservoir of resources for students and staff for their scholarly research and academic development. It functions as a repository constituent of the institute to support the programs run by the institution and satisfy the hunger of knowledge seekers.
Library is rich with a wide variety of books on Management and Technology. It maintains an excellent collection of books, references, general reading material, periodicals, research journals, e-journals, research reports, magazines, CD-ROMs and reference source. The library has a reading room with a capacity of 120 seats. Students are expected to maintain silence in the room. It is mainly used during the students’ preparatory leave. Newspapers of different languages are available to the stakeholders for reading. Online access to e-journals and books are available for students 24/7.
Library offers you much more than simply the opportunity to borrow literature required for study, teaching and research. The Institute Library continuously works for the development of its services, we aim to provide you with the best possible services.

“Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds" is an Indian Massive open online course (MOOC) platform. SWAYAM is an initiative launched by the then Ministry of Human Resource Development (now Ministry of Education), Government of India under Digital India to give a coordinated stage and free entry to web courses, covering all advanced education, High School and skill sector courses.
All the courses are interactive, prepared by the best teachers in the country and are available, free of cost to any learner.The courses hosted on SWAYAM are in 4 quadrants – (1) video lecture, (2) specially prepared reading material that can be downloaded/printed (3) self-assessment tests through tests and quizzes and (4) an online discussion forum for clearing the doubts.
Our institute is in Local chapter list of NPTEL Courses, our LC ID is 2912 where our student can enroll many courses, our faculty guides them, and student can access the NPTL online lectures in our E- Library segment in Library Reading Room.

The National Digital library of India is a project under Ministry of Education, Government of India. NDL India to its advantages, features, and collection in the global digital space. To bring learning resources with a single search facility for learners so that it reduces the consumption of time on searching research materials/ reading materials on various platforms. The objective is to collect and collate metadata and provide full text index from several national and international digital libraries, as well as other relevant sources. It is a digital repository containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media.
The NDLI provides free of cost access to many books in the Indian languages and English. The NDL India The text also sheds light on the enormous reading materials available in several languages.
